The Amador Central Railroad Corporation

The Amador Central Railroad Corporation, a 501c3 non-profit California Corporation, was incorporated to preserve and maintain the approximately ten miles of historic railroad between Ione and Martell, California. We are a 100% volunteer organization and have, along with predecessor groups, preserved the railroad right-of-way since 2010. Projects include public outreach through our monthly railcar rides, and hosting of specialty groups with a focus on history, geology, etc..
